ALBATROZ ENGINEERING MODELS UNDERGROUND ROMAN GALLERIES

The challenge
Within 7 hours, create a geometric 3D model of an unknown space with 250m underground galleries.
The site can not be visited beforehand and, if something goes wrong, the next visit will be scheduled within a year, or longer...
The process
Move a laser scanner along the galleries, creating a cloud of points that will be later translated into 3D surfaces:
